Do Spicules in Skin Treatments Hurt?

Moments after the spicule treatment is applied to the skin, you might feel a slight tingly or prickly sensation during the absorption process. This sensation is completely normal and will subside shortly after. This prickly feeling comes from spicules that create microchannels in the upper skin layer.
This is very different from skin needling, which can be irritating and cause slight bleeding on the surface of the face. In fact, numbing cream is usually recommended for skin needling due to its potential to cause discomfort. This is not the case for spicule treatments.
Spicule treatments, due to their non-invasive nature, allow for minimal downtime.
